The term ultras was first ignited in Italy before being followed by many other countries so it is only right that the last and final club we focus on is AC Milan and their ‘Curva Sud Milano’ section which is the main supporter’s group for the club and are one of the oldest ultra groups in football and in Italy where the culture of ultras originated, and were always going to be included in a blog for football fans and ultras as they are a legendary club known worldwide by fans. AC Milan play at the San Siro stadium which is also uniquely the joint home of their city rivals ‘Inter Milan’ in the Iconic 75,817 capacity stadium admired by fans throughout Europe. Milan when they were first founded were seen to be the working-class support of the city with one of their nicknames ‘Casciavit’ meaning screwdrivers, as opposed to the Inter fans who were deemed the upper-class side of supporters.
